About Celestial Wolf

Celestial Wolf is a science fiction dealing with the distant future of humanity. Humanity has reached out to the stars and colonized not only the Moon and on Mars, but has also created colonizing stations on other viable worlds. They are eventually blind-sided with a surprise attack by an alien race known as the Zenoguard--a race with far more advanced technology that nearly destroys the human race in an event now called the Great Invasion. The survivors are pushed off Earth, which appears to be terraformed into a state closer to Venus in the years following the event, and are thus forced to survive on their colonized worlds. However, Earth remains their home, and 30 years after the Great Invasion, now humanity is fighting the alien race to reclaim their rightful home in an all-out war.

Story Behind Celestial Wolf

Celestial Wolf started out not the way it is seen now. The original concept for Celestial Wolf came from two different stories. One known as Blue Star and the other had no title but a general concept, which both were created by Christi when she was in her mid teens. When meeting Rachel, Christi shared these two stories with her, and the two then started to merge the two different stories into one simple story. At this point, this concept was still called Blue Star.
It wouldn't be until a later on, after the scope of the story world began to expand out, would they change the working title of Blue Star to what it is known as now: Celestial Wolf.

The original story of Celestial Wolf was also much smaller originally. It was only meant to be around 2-3 books long, however as the world continued to expand, the story--and possible books--also started to grow. What was supposed to be maybe ten chapters or so, turned into a massive epic which would be expanding from its current timeline into future plans of in-universe history of major events, and even considerations of a sequel to Celestial Wolf to explain the full story of the universe. Even at this point, the two creators are not sure if it will come to an end.
The main character within the story also changed from one to another as the story continued to grow. The original main character was to be Kyle Rogers, the youthful 3rd Generation Blue F.A.N.G. Connector pilot, and his fiancee Rachel Clif--humanity's highest-ranked Chief Medical Officer. However, the main character switched to the tall, lanky British 2nd Generation Skyler Henderson; commander of the White F.A.N.G. unit and second-in-command of the old earth battleship S.T.A.R..
With that said, it can be argued that the appointed main characters of Celestial Wolf is more of a revolving door between the cast than a simple list.

Some of the original character designs of Celestial Wolf were based on what certain Transformers characters (most of them fan-made) would look like if they were turned human. Most characters were inspired by people in real-life, characters in other stories, or just a concept character that took a life of their own in the story.

Inspiration Behind Celestial Wolf

The inspiration behind Celestial Wolf comes from many established science fictions, and one can dissect this story and find all of the different parts and influences. Though it is quite far from intentional, it is similarly hard to break down each origin of inspiration and what the subconcious latches onto to use later on. For each of the creators, these sources of inspiration would be different things depending on what they prefer.
If any works in particular come to mind, it would be series such as Star Trek, Star Wars, and Babylon 5 in particular. Perhaps also with some Alien in there somewhere, as those four franchises are great inspiration to the artist and to the writer when it comes to the science fiction genre. However, in creating a more original flair, we do hope that our story could be at least unique enough to be an appreciation to what has come before, and not a clear salute or outright remaking.

The other great inspiration of Celestial Wolf happens to be Christi's father, who was a great dreamer in his day. Dreaming of the future and things that could be and sharing those with his daughter to where he believed the world may be. Both of her parents pushed her imagination and to always dream of the future. Her father was also heavily interested in technology, showing her how technology could change the world for the better when used in proper ways and could improve humanity, along with sometimes the dangers of it.
Rachel was inspired by many different aspects, not always the same as Christi, though they do share the fact that Christi's Father did play a part in it. Christi's own ethusiasm in the genre held just as much weight, if not more, and her grandmother held even more than that--a woman with a sharp wit and a fan of science fiction herself.
